We know how important it is for you to know what it's really like to work at a company before you apply. You need to make sure it's a good culture fit and that you'll receive job satisfaction, recognition, and progression.
At AND we're building an incredible culture that is diverse, inclusive, and underpinned by psychological safety. We want people to be confident to be creative and take risks. We also know how important work-life balance is. We encourage and support each ANDi to pursue their own interests and hobbies.
We’re proud to be recognised as a world-class company. We’ve been awarded the 15th best large company in the UK. We’re working hard to reach the top spot.
Our organisational structure means clubhouses across the UK are independent. They have their own leadership team, culture, and vision - this means we can forge unique organisational identities that are connected to regions in which we operate.
At AND we run regular feedback sessions within teams and company-wide to make sure you’re receiving the help and support you need to achieve your best. We listen to your feedback and implement changes to improve our ways of working and team recognition.
In our latest employee engagement survey we found:
We run regular company-wide engagement surveys to make sure everyone’s voice is heard. This means we can make changes when necessary to improve staff well-being, success, and enjoyment at AND.
As careers develop we understand that your priorities might change. You might find yourself interested in a specific sector or you may feel you need to develop a new set of skills to get to where you want to be in your career.
The range of roles that are constantly being opened across business units and Clubs at AND gives everyone the opportunity to move around internally to either advance their career or provide a stable way to change careers.
Every year we host a company-wide networking event for all ANDis to join. This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet across Clubs and business units, chat, socialise and hear from our executive board on the direction of AND.
Team days are for Clubhouses or business units to enjoy time together and participate in team activities. Sometimes they are used volunteer in their local community. It’s entirely up to the team how they spend their day.
The important thing to remember is that every team and Club at AND is independent. This means your team days and social budget is not dictated by the wider company. You have the opportunity to put your ideas forward and shape the social culture of your team.
There are more than 1,000 ANDis (and counting) all with their own individual hobbies and interests. We want to make sure everyone has a chance to socialise and talk about their shared passions with others around the business as they would if they were sitting in the same office with them.
We have multiple hobbies and interest groups on our slack app and ANDis are welcome to create new channels if they find there’s not one that fits their interests. It's a great place to take a break from your work and sit and chat with others about the latest football game, a new plant you bought, share pictures of your pets, the latest hike you did in the Peak District or share the latest flavour of gin you tried.
Working on exciting and challenging projects and having a good work-life balance is not always enough. Many of us are also looking for ways we can develop our skills to advance our careers.
At AND we have a team dedicated to the learning and development of all ANDis.
Every ANDi gets an annual training budget which they can use to help upskill themselves. This can be used on tickets to conferences, certifications, courses, memberships - anything outside of AND Digital that supports your learning.
You also get 13 days on top of your regular holiday allowance for upskilling and innovation. This gives you time to learn, reflect on and then implement new knowledge and skills.

We’re committed to closing the world’s digital skills gap. To do this we have our own academy and agile coaching teams at AND that are dedicated to providing training to our clients and ANDis.
Every quarter the academy team run internal surveys to find out what skills are most in-demand and what ANDis would like to learn. These range from “soft skills” such as public speaking, presentation and leadership workshops to “hard skill” workshops such as Introduction to Cloud, Google Tag Manager, and API fundamentals.
These workshops are for everyone across AND whether they are in a tech-related role or not. ANDis who are not in a developer or analyst role still gain value from these in-house workshops as it gives them a better understanding of our client services and our position in the tech industry.
Whether you want to upskill and become a specialist or learn something completely new, you’ll receive an academy workshop calendar every quarter to enrol onto any course that piques your interest.
Every ANDi has full access to LinkedIn Learning. Whether you want to brush up on some leadership management, learn the foundations of a new skill, or keep up to date with your current skill set - you have the full Linkedin Learning Library available to you.
Career scrum teams
Career Scrum Teams is AND’s agile inspired approach to career development. We want all our people to know that their career is our priority by providing a development plan that recognises their strengths, provides tailored coaching and helps everyone realise their potential. No ratings. No review documents. No out of date objectives.
Instead, our Career Scrum Teams development framework is focused on Agile sprints to get you to where you want to be. You’re in charge of your own development with a scrum team of leaders and mentors from AND to keep you on track.
In essence, you create your own personal BHAG - Big Hairy Audacious Goal. From there, your scrum team will help you break down your goal into smaller bite-size achievements and activities. These can be formal e-learning, shadowing someone in a role you aspire to, working on your networking skills, or setting time aside every week to read a book or listen to a podcast.
Every 6 months you review what you’ve learned and achieved in order to get you one step closer to your BHAG. Then, you plan out the actives for the next 6 months.
