Listening to everyone's needs

At AND we run regular feedback sessions within teams and company-wide to make sure you’re receiving the help and support you need to achieve your best. In our latest employee engagement survey we found:

  • Enjoyment 91% of ANDis would recommend AND as a great place to work
  • Proud 88% of ANDis are proud to work at AND Digital in the last year
  • Autonomy 87% of ANDis believe they have enough autonomy at AND

Your career development and learning

Every ANDi gets an annual training budget which they can use to help upskill themselves. We also give 13 days on top of your regular holiday allowance for upskilling and innovation. This gives you time to learn, reflect on and then implement new knowledge and skills.

AND Academy

Every quarter the academy team run internal surveys to find out what skills are most in-demand and what ANDis would like to learn. These range from “soft skills” such as public speaking, presentation and leadership workshops to “hard skill” workshops such as Introduction to Cloud, Google Tag Manager, and API fundamentals.

These workshops are for everyone across AND whether they are in a tech-related role or not. ANDis who are not in a developer or analyst role still gain value from these in-house workshops as it gives them a better understanding of our client services and our position in the tech industry.

Every ANDi also gets full access to LinkedIn Learning.

Career scrum teams

Career Scrum Teams is AND’s agile inspired approach to career development. We want all our people to know that their career is our priority by providing a development plan that recognises their strengths, provides tailored coaching and helps everyone realise their potential. No ratings. No review documents. No out of date objectives. 

Instead, our Career Scrum Teams development framework is focused on Agile sprints to get you to where you want to be. You’re in charge of your own development with a scrum team of leaders and mentors from AND to keep you on track.

Every 6 months you review what you’ve learned and achieved in order to get you one step closer to your BHAG. Then, you plan out the actives for the next 6 months.

Work-life balance

Socialising at AND

There are more than 1,000 ANDis and we want to make sure everyone has a chance to socialise and talk about their shared passions with others around the business as they would if they were sitting in the same office with them.

Every year we host a company-wide networking event for all ANDis to join. This is a great opportunity for everyone to meet across Clubs and business units, chat, socialise and hear from our executive board on the direction of AND. 

 

Team days are for Clubhouses or business units to enjoy time together and participate in team activities. Sometimes they are used volunteer in their local community. It’s entirely up to the team how they spend their day. 

 

The important thing to remember is that every team and Club at AND is independent. This means your team days and social budget is not dictated by the wider company. You have the opportunity to put your ideas forward and shape the social culture of your team.
