It’s time to combat remote session fatigue. Join us to explore and rethink the ‘ingredients’ that make an online event great.
Welcome to the next Agile Reading meetup!
Our mission is to grow the Agile community in Reading and share new trends and techniques in the Agile world.
It’s time to combat remote session fatigue. To do this, we need to rethink the ‘ingredients’ that make an online event great. In this event, we’ll explore how to cook one up that makes an impact and inspires action.
Building on the challenges of running an online event that meets the needs of a diverse set of attendees - and responding to recurring frustrations and criticisms - remote engagement expert Martin Simmons will outline how you can strike a balance between the various components that are necessary for an online event to be successful.
Think of this as a cookery show: you’ll learn the base ingredients that create the foundation for a great event and how to add flavour (maybe sweetness, perhaps some spice) to elevate the session so it leaves a lasting impression on those in attendance.
This balancing act requires skill and a serious command of flavour. But, as Martin will explain, when done properly, you can create a sense of occasion that offers a Michelin star remote experience.
Martin has facilitated and led a number of talks on remote engagement, including a cross-continent collaboration between the UK and NZ IIBA community, the Waterstons Knowledge Academy, and the IIBA rediscovering interactive engagement session.
