Welcome to the next Agile Reading meetup!

Our mission is to grow the Agile community in Reading and share new trends and techniques in the Agile world.

Join Adam and Stu for an interactive workshop to celebrate the first anniversary of Agile Reading.

A year ago we were planning a monthly, face-to-face meet-up, but 16th March also marks a year since the start of the first UK Lockdown. The government’s ‘Work From Home’ directives have had a significant impact on the work lives of millions of people and we all had to adapt. We will soon have to adapt again to a blended way of working, where some tasks will require face-to-face interaction, but others will remain remote.

Adam and Stu will share some of the techniques, practices, and approaches used in AND during a year of lockdown. You’ll learn how we worked with remote and dispersed delivery teams and continued to deliver business value. You will also have the chance to share how you and your teams have been moving forwards and maintaining engagement. And we’ll brainstorm a new blended working pattern.

At the end of the session, don't miss a walk through of a step-by-step process you can follow to ensure that you are designing and delivering engaging sessions.

About Adam

Adam Hall is a Scrum Master and experienced Agile Coach for AND Digital, with a keen interest in empowering teams, on and offshore. He is currently enjoying the puzzle of helping digital teams adapt to a world that suddenly works fully remote.

About Stuart

As Chief For Delivery Approaches AND Scrum Half, Stuart is accountable for evolving the Delivery Approaches across AND Digital with focus on preparing AND for the technology and skills of the future. This includes improving our methods and processes for setting up high performing teams (collocated, blended, and dispersed) so they have more successful client engagements - leading to client happiness, retention, and customer value.

Developing the Agile, Programme, and Project practices across AND Digital so that we can explore the most appropriate methods and approaches for individual, team, and team of teams delivery. Connecting with the practitioners across AND Digital, our clients, and the wider community so that we can examine, access, and exploit our collective knowledge and learning.

Prior to AND Digital, Stuart worked as a Digital Project and Programme Manager across a number of different sectors (retail, government, high service distribution, online gaming). In these organisations, he was either directly delivering digital projects, running Agile process transformation projects or managing large multi-national programme deliveries.
