Club Launch (1)

With the launch of new Clubs in London, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bristol, AND Digital remains on course to meet its BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) of 10x growth by 2025.

We’re excited to have announced a flurry of new Club launches across the UK which will support more businesses in boosting their capability and closing their digital skills gaps.

In London, our fifth club is set to open in May. The Edinburgh opening will be our third Club in Scotland and bring us another step closer to having five Scottish Clubs in place by 2025. And, for the first time, we’ll be launching new Clubs to Birmingham and Bristol, bringing AND Digital to organisations across the Midlands and South West. In total, the new Clubs will lead to the creation of around 350 new jobs.

Our approach to the skills gap

To us, the digital skills gap is about more than coding skills or having enough people to complete digital tasks. It’s about having the right skills mix, mindset and practices to support organisational growth.

Our recent Fuelling Growth in an Age of Data report, for example, showed that business decision-makers across the country feel a lack of expertise is stunting their ability to truly capitalise on data for growth. And we know it’s not just data.

Helping more organisations thrive

Commenting on the continued growth at AND Digital, AND Digital’s founder, Paramjit Uppal, spoke about the effect of the Fuelling Growth in an Age of Data report in driving our latest expansion.

“The research calls out a pressing need for tech and data capabilities, and it is just one aspect of the so-called ‘Digital Skills Gap’ we face as a nation. Data skills are a critical component of the challenge to build the skill-mix, capabilities, mindset and ways of working most organisations are trying to solve.

“It’s for this reason that we’re opening our new Clubs, boosting our presence in London, Scotland, the Midlands and the South West. We are investing to help local organisations accelerate their capabilities and equip themselves with the skills they need to not only survive but thrive in a more uncertain and increasingly digital-first world.

“We know technology alone can only take a business so far. That’s exactly why we not only collaborate with clients to build to their urgent needs, but also help them to attract the people, build the right skill-mix, adopt the culture and mindset, and ways of working, to build and accelerate. These are all vital ingredients that will help organisations reach their true potential, and ensure businesses thrive in the long term.”

The support to achieve digital acceleration

Andrew Smith is AND Digital’s Chief for Next. It’s his role to maintain our high growth momentum. Speaking about the expansion, he said:

“Our intent is to build on the fantastic work of our existing Clubs and provide our customers with the support they need to achieve digital acceleration – whether that’s supporting in the building of innovative products for themselves or supporting them in developing their own tech capabilities.”
