Today, one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies, AND Digital, launches its latest office (AND calls them ‘clubs’). Club Gladys, named after US mathematician Gladys Mae West, whose work underpins today's GPS systems, is AND’s 5th London club, and its 19th in the UK and Netherlands.

The company has enjoyed enormous growth since its launch in 2014 and the new club is set to create new jobs in an organisation that has more than 1,500 digital experts (known as ANDis) on its team.

The new club, in Farringdon, will enable AND to further its mission of closing London’s digital skills gap. It will also help more London businesses become digitally independent, as Club Exec. Zoe Kelleher explains:

“AND’s success has been built on taking a very different approach to the digital agency and to the way companies manage their digital transformation. We’re not a consultancy that tells clients what to do. We don’t develop solutions that tie clients to us. We want to help organisations operate independently. So we help clients build exceptional products today, but at the same time we build their capabilities so they won’t constantly need us tomorrow. By closing their digital skills gap, we’re helping our partners to become much more self-sufficient.”

“I love AND’s dedication to closing the digital skills gap. The more people know, the better we can all work together today, and the more equipped they are for success in the future.

Also excited about AND’s latest Club is London’s Chief Digital Officer, Theo Blackwell: “I’ve often talked about London’s evolution as a ‘smart city’ – a place where digital, data and technology combine to respond to our needs in new and innovative ways. For that to happen, our businesses need the support that enables them to work smarter too. AND Digital is at the vanguard of improving digital skills in the capital. It’s good to see that this latest launch will enable them to upskill many more people and bring dozens more tech jobs to London.”
